Verizon’s 3G BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230: Oh, It’s One Hell Of A SmartPhone!

Verizon’s 3G BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230Okay, so can we talk about Verizon’s 3G BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 that was released on June 19th?  This incredible phone is just that … incredible and to be honest, it is one of the only blackberry phones that I would even begin to purchase.  Not only does it have all of the technology of any other blackberry phone, but this is one of those phones that flips closed, so you never, ever have to worry about pressing any buttons whenever you sit down!

Some of the cool features that this phone includes are 2-megapixel shooter with flash and video recording, a SureType QWERTY keyboard, microSD / SDHC slot and support for VZ Navigator.  Those are just some of them and it was actually on sale this weekend for $129.00 – after a $70.00 mail-in rebate of course.

So if you are looking for a new phone for dad this Father’s day, this should be it!  Remember the 3G BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230!

LG Viewty Smart: It’s The Best Phone!

LG Viewty SmartIt is pretty obvious that LG is coming out with some pretty freakin’ awesome phones and the LG Viewty Smart is no exception at all!  This phone is actually going to be coming out in the UK this month and honestly, I think that it is definitely one of the best phones in the world!  The 3-inch touchscreen is absolutely incredible and it has 7.2MBP HSDPA connectivity.  The phone also features a 8MP digital camera which to me, is very, very important.

One thing that I noticed about the LG Viewty Smart is the fact that it looks so freakin’ sleek and chic as well.  It almost looks like a phone but honestly, the amount of camera that is in this phone is absolutely impeccable.

So if you are looking for a fantastic digital camera with a phone attached, you should absolutely take a look at the LG Viewty Smart!

The Twitterverse Turns to Cell Phones

twitter-inq1-facebook-phoneTwitter is taking over the world.  Ashton tweets.  Demi tweets.  John Mayer tweets.  Lilo tweets.  I tweet.  You tweet.  Our parents are starting to tweet.  Twittering is the new black.  The phenonemon even has its own language — and very soon, it is going to have its own cell phone as well.  Heaven help us all, Twitter has even eclipsed MySpace.

As a result, INQ Mobile, a top mobile manufacturer, has announced its intentions to launch a new Twitter phone. The company plans to have it available on the market just in time for Christmas sales. Naturally, the hopes are that the increasingly popularity of micro blogging will drive sales.

The phone’s handset will be the very first mass marketed cell phone that has a Twitter client, entirely internet based. You can still send the same tweets — one hundred and forty characters at a time.

INQ Mobile hopes that the Twitter phone will do even better than its initial Skype phone, launched back in 2007.

Samsung Pixon 12 (M810) Phone: It’s Brand Freakin’ New!

Samsung Pixon 12 (M810)

Okay, so let’s give a little chat about the latest and greatest phone from Samsung.  Now, we all know that Samsung is definitely the leading producer of music phones, but really, I think that they are trying their hand at the camera phones a little bit too much … and I love it!  Take the latest and greatest phone from them – the one that is not even released yet but people are constantly rumoring about.

The new Samsung Pixon 12 is actually supposed to have a 12MP camera on it along with a 3.1 inch screen that is touch.  The resolution of said screen is about 720×480, which is incredible and it includes about 150mb of internal memory.  This phone also has GSM/GRPS/EDGE and GPS capabilities and all around … its freakin’ sweet looking!

So if you want a Samsung phone and you don’t know what to get – you should absolutely get yourself one of these beautiful phones!

T-Mobile Shadow: It’s Incredible Looking!

shadow-2009-1

If there is one thing that I absolutely love about T-Mobile it is their selection of phones.  Take the T-Mobile Shadow for example.  This phone is one of the very first phones that are actually designed with a wheel-like navigation tool, which personally, I love!  I think that this phone is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and it is so easy to use!

You know how whenever you get a really high-tech phone and you think that it is going to be so easy to use and yet … when you try to work it is not easy at all?  This phone is not like that at all.  You actually have a slide out keypad as well, which personally, I think is so freakin’ futuristic, it’s insane.

So you are waiting for what again … this phone isn’t going to be around forever – remember that!

Cell Phones: The Future

Cell Phone,Future | Saturday May 16 2009 12:22 pm | Comments (0) Tags: , ,

One must think that cell phones cannot get more advanced or developed. However, 10 years ago, people would not have expected to take pictures or video recordings or for that matter, to download unlimited music with their cellphones. The fact that these features are now common in almost every handset, makes us believe that mobile phone technology will not only develop but also advance to an extent considered impossible.

3G allows users to transfer data that ranges between 64 kilobytes and 285 kilobytes per second. It’s quite possible that soon there will be no difference between a mobile phone and a personal computer! One will not see the need to purchase an MP3 player due to the facilities and features available in the cell phone, which make it a virtual jukebox. Even though most cell phones already offer a plethora of games to choose from, newer technologies will allow users from different parts of the world to challenge and play with each other. The 3-D graphics will eliminate the need for the ownership of a PSP or for that case, a Play Station.

Due to the incorporation of the facility of GPS (Global Positioning System) in your cell phone, there will be no need for you to purchase a GPS for your car. It will show you the route you must take in order to reach your destination along with the above mentioned features. No getting lost again, ever.

However, using these facilities causes a major strain on the device’s battery. This problem is one of the major concerns related to the success of 4G. Manufacturers are certainly not stopping at 3G and have already begun developments for further, that is, advanced technology. With the help of 4G, the user will have the benefit of using his cell phone to purchase as well as sell items, online. It will also allow the user to interact with others with the help of uninterrupted video calls. Users will be able to watch television with the help of this technology, eliminating the need to sit in front of the idiot box for hours, specially with the advent of pay-per-view services.
